We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
- Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents during regular updates.
- Manage daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and play periods with organisation and sensitivity.
- Support the integration of children with additional needs by implementing tailored strategies in collaboration with specialists.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Lead by example in demonstrating management and leadership qualities within the team.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively liaise with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience with childcare management systems or record keeping is beneficial.
