Are you a talented Cake Decorator or Cake Artist who loves creating beautiful, show-stopping cakes?
The Cake Daddy is growing and we're looking for an experienced, creative decorator to join our team in Stockport.
We create everything from luxury birthday and celebration cakes to characters, detailed fondant designs, corporate cakes and incredible 3D/sculpted creations.
If you're confident with fondant, have a great eye for detail and have a portfolio you're proud of, we'd love to see your work.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work on a wide variety of customer orders, including:
- Fondant celebration cakes
- 3D and sculpted cakes
- Character and themed cakes
- Fondant figures and toppers
- Luxury birthday cakes
- Corporate and branded cakes
- Wedding and special-occasion cakes
- Detailed modelling and decorative work
You'll take designs and inspiration provided by customers and turn them into professionally finished cakes ready for collection or delivery.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Has professional cake decorating experience
- Is confident covering cakes neatly with fondant
- Can achieve clean, professional finishes
- Has experience with fondant modelling and decorative work
- Understands cake stacking and basic cake structure
- Has a strong eye for colour, proportion and detail
- Can follow customer designs and inspiration accurately
- Can work efficiently during busy periods and meet order deadlines
- Takes pride in producing consistently high-quality work
Experience creating 3D/sculpted cakes is highly desirable.
Experience with techniques such as airbrushing, edible printing, hand painting, sugar flowers, modelling chocolate or ganache is also a bonus.

We're looking for skill, creativity and attention to detail.
You don't need to tick every box or have a long list of qualifications. If you have professional decorating experience and can show us a strong portfolio of your work, we'd like to hear from you.
A portfolio or examples of previous cake work will be required as part of your application.

Pay & Hours
Pay: From £14.00 per hour, depending on experience and portfolio
Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities available
