Mendip Community Transport is a charitable, not for profit organisation established over 20 years ago to service the Mendip area providing essential transport for groups and individuals who are unable to access existing services. We are based at Waterlip near Shepton Mallet and operate a fleet of accessible minibuses. Part of the work we undertake is to provide transport on behalf of Somerset County Council. We are currently looking to recruit Passenger Assistants in the Shepton Mallet area.
Role: Passenger Assistant for SEN School Transport & Social Care
Team role working with minibus driver assisting SEN/Social Care Passengers with travel to and from school and day groups. Previous experience not required as training will be provided.
Candidates need to be able to start work from Shepton Mallet
Schedule: [approx.] 7.45am to 9:15am & 2:30pm to 4.00pm - Term time only.
There may be opportunity for additional work both in and out of term time to provide assistance for Social Care passengers.
