Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Front of House Assistant / Barista to join our vibrant café team. This role involves preparing drinks, serving customers, taking orders, and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the café in a busy and welcoming environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring a positive experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, including tables and counters
- Assist with food handling tasks as needed, adhering to food safety standards
- Help provide friendly, efficient customer service in a busy environment
- Assist with general day-to-day café operations
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Good spoken English
- Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Previous café, coffee shop, bakery, or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong organisational skills and excellent time management abilities
