Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Waiter/Waitress to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring all special requests are accommodated
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to ensure guest safety
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and timely delivery of orders
- Manage guest inquiries or concerns promptly, striving to resolve issues with professionalism and care
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and POS systems
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant serving roles with a strong background in hospitality
- Excellent guest service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Basic culinary understanding to assist with food preparation when necessary
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and experience in a culinary setting is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience
