The Role
This is a full-time, paid position at the heart of Covenant Love People’s day-to-day life. As Church Administrator, you will be the central point of coordination for our operations - from membership records and communications to events, facilities and financial administration.
It’s a role with real variety, genuine responsibility, and the satisfaction of knowing that the work you do directly enables the mission of the church.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining membership and attendance records and keeping our church management systems up to date
- Producing and distributing weekly bulletins, announcements and communications
- Coordinating calendars, facility bookings and event logistics
- Supporting follow-up with first-time visitors and new members
- Managing financial administration including donations, banking and Gift Aid records
- Improving administrative processes and documenting how we work
- Supporting church leadership, ministries and volunteers with a wide range of administrative tasks
Occupational Requirement
Due to the nature of the role and its involvement in supporting the ministry and mission of the church, there is an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 for the postholder to be a practising Christian.
Who We’re Looking For
Beyond faith, you’ll bring:
- At least two years’ administrative experience, with strong organisational and communication skills
- Confident use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A careful, accurate approach to records and confidential information, with GDPR awareness
- A proactive mindset - you spot what needs doing and follow through
- The ability to manage multiple priorities reliably and calmly
- Experience in a church, charity or not-for-profit setting is an advantage, but not essential

Pay: £24,785.00 per year
