Green Routes Stirling is a well-established charitable organisation, founded in 2007, supporting people with additional support needs and those from backgrounds that may create barriers to employment. We are based in the Walled Garden at Gargunnock Stirling.
Our training includes horticulture, rural skills, independent living skills and employability development through our ‘Routes to Work’ programme. We are now expanding the range of opportunities available to students through the development of an on-site training kitchen and a small shop selling Green Routes produce, creating a more diverse and practical learning environment.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Employability Support Manager to oversee the delivery of Green Routes employability programme, ‘Routes to Work’. This role will focus on supporting students with additional support needs to develop employability skills, access and prepare for volunteering and work experience opportunities, and sustain meaningful placements or employment.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Development Manager and Employability Garden Manager to develop and deliver our employability strategy. It’s a people-focused role combining training, advocacy, management, and workplace partnership building.
The position requires travel to work placements/businesses etc. The successful applicant will have a full clean driving license and access to a vehicle.
About You
The ideal candidate will bring experience across the retail and hospitality sectors, alongside a strong understanding of training and support practices within these environments.
