Duties
- Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining a high standard of presentation and quality
- Assist with food safety practices, including proper handling and sanitation of dishes and utensils
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services and resolving any issues promptly
- Support basic food preparation tasks as needed, including setting tables, refilling condiments, or assisting in the kitchen during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for handling bills, payments, and change accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, positive attitude towards guests and team members
- Kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is a plus but not required; willingness to assist with food prep is appreciated
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding guest services with professionalism and enthusiasm
