Intumescent Sprayer – National Coverage
We are seeking experienced Intumescent Sprayers to join our team on a permanent basis. This role offers excellent contract rates, high‑value projects, and long‑term opportunities across mainland UK. Positions are based from our Midlands facility, with national travel required.
Key Details
- Permanent position
- 48+ hours per week, Monday to Friday
- £200 per day plus relevant expenses
- Above National Minimum Wage with competitive packages
- Subcontractor packages also available
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in the application of intumescent coatings
- Competent in the use of airless spray units
- Ability to measure Dry Film Thickness (DFT) using DFT readers and accurately record readings in line with QA requirements
- Experience in firestopping systems, cavity barriers, and structural boarding
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ideally holds a current CSCS card
- UK resident with a full, clean driving licence
- Strong understanding of safe working practices and quality standards
Role Responsibilities
- Application of intumescent coatings to specified DFTs
- Recording DFT measurements and completing all associated quality documentation
- Installation of firestopping systems
- Fitting cavity barriers and structural fire protection
- Structural boarding and associated passive fire protection works
