CBRE GlobalWorkplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities andcorporate real estate management. We are recruiting for a Building FabricTechnician based at our client site inUxbridge.
The position is created toself-perform the basic maintenance tasks under the contract and to carry outreactive works under the General Duties remit.
What You’ll Do:
Daily inspections to all areas of the site
Carry out a wide variety of planned and reactiveworks
Minor plumbing and building fabric repairs
Painting
Legionella Awareness Training (L8) (training can beprovided)
Using the CBRE IFM System to manage all Work Ordersand planned maintenance records
Timely completion of SSR’s raised by clientfollowing site tours/inspections
Support and schedule to manage 3 rd partycontractors
Keep Logbooks and eLogbook’s up to date withup-to-date documentation
Support to the site team
Support site with event set ups including meetingrooms changes, huddles etc
Any other tasks within the individual’s capabilities
Communicate effectively with onsite staff whencarrying out tasks to ensure minimal disruption
Support the FM with other ad hoc tasks
Undertake Fire Warden & First Aider duties(training can be provided)
Act as cover for the FM during Sickness and AnnualLeave
Carry out planned preventative and reactivemaintenance as directed
Adhere to KPI completion standards with regardsSLA’s
Work within Health & Safety guidelines.
A team player and able to communicate at team andcustomer level.
Deliver maintenance under our estabished processes.
Participate in training, attend and input at teammeetings.
Complete incident reports and where required back upreports.
Provide emergency call out duties if required.
Respond to alarms or user requests.
Ability and willingness to respond to all requests
Focus on high customer satisfaction within servicelevel targets.
Follow all CBRE Policies, Procedures and RISEValues.
What You’ll Need:
- Provenfault finding ability with a view to minimising downtime.
- Working on continuousimprovements / project work.
- Experienceof basic building fabric repairs to include plumbing, building, joinery andpainting and decorating
- Soundknowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety and Quality
- Organisationaland planning skills to enable weekly labour planning
- Strongverbal communication skills
- Highcustomer focus
