Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Utility Labourer to join our team in GB. This role is vital in supporting our utility and civil engineering projects, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety standards. The successful candidate will contribute to the successful delivery of infrastructure projects aligned with our company's mission.
Responsibilities
- Assist with excavation and utility installation tasks using hand tools and power tools.
- Operate excavators and other machinery safely under supervision.
- Support welding and mechanical tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various technical tasks.
- Prepare sites for construction activities by clearing debris and setting up equipment.
- Report any issues or hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience working with hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Mechanical knowledge or electrical experience is advantageous.
- Ability to follow safety procedures diligently.
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour tasks.
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Prior experience in utilities or civil engineering projects is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks.
