Experienced Groundworker – Full-Time
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Groundworker to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in all aspects of groundworks, with experience in drainage, concrete works, and foundation preparation. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to health and safety are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare foundations for a variety of construction projects.
- Install new drainage systems and connect them to existing infrastructure.
- Alter and repair existing drainage systems where required.
- Prepare, lay, and backfill drainage.
- Handle, place, and finish concrete to a high standard.
- Carry out groundworks safely, efficiently, and to specification.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Groundworker.
- Experience in drainage installation, foundations, and concrete works.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively in all weather conditions.
- Good understanding of current health and safety legislation and safe working practices.
- Confident using modern technology, including mobile apps and digital job management systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- CSCS Card (preferred/essential – amend as required).
- CPCS or NPORS plant tickets are advantageous but not essential.
