Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being in various settings such as home care, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and fostering a positive environment for those you assist.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Manage medication schedules and ensure proper administration as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence while promoting safety within their environment.
- Engage in behaviour management techniques to support clients with specific needs.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
- Collaborate with case management teams to develop and implement individual care plans.
Experience
- Turkish Speaking Female Carer
- Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with case management processes is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A caring attitude and a genuine passion for helping others are essential qualities for this role.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility in various situations.
