About Altios International UK
ALTIOS International UK is part of ALTIOS Group, a global advisory firm supporting international growth, with clients gaining access to ALTIOS' network of 40+ offices across 25 countries. The UK team offers expertise across market entry, organic development, and accelerated expansion through M&A for businesses expanding internationally.
As part of supporting international companies expanding into the UK, we provide accounting and payroll services so clients can stay compliant with UK regulations without having to build an in-house finance function from day one.
We're a close-knit, collaborative team, and this role sits at the heart of how we deliver a reliable, accurate service to our clients every month.
The Role
We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Accounts and Payroll Officer to manage bookkeeping and payroll for a portfolio of clients. - Auto-enrolment pension compliance (beyond just contributions — assessing eligibility, opt-outs)
- CIS returns, if any clients are in construction
- Keep on top of relevant UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
- Act as a point of contact for client payroll queries
General
- Query resolution with HMRC directly on clients' behalf
- Maintain controls and schedules so work is completed accurately and on time
- Work closely with the wider team under the guidance of the Operations Manager
- Support colleagues with their workload as needed, particularly around deadlines
