We’re Pure IT Refurbished — one of the UK’s leading IT refurbishment companies, supplying high-quality refurbished devices to schools, businesses, and public sector organisations across the UK.
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-focused individual to join our team as a Painting Technician. You’ll be spray painting desktop computer casings to an OEM-standard finish in our professional spray booth.
What you’ll be doing:
· Spray painting desktop casings to an agreed quality standard in our professional spray booth
· Preparing the spray booth before each session — masking, cleaning, and equipment checks
· Applying coatings following the agreed paint process for each model
· Self-inspecting every painted unit for runs, drips, orange peel, dust contamination, or uneven coverage
· Checking each device is fully prepared and ready before painting — rejecting any that aren’t back to the preparation stage
· Maintaining a clean, organised spray booth and following all health and safety procedures
What we’re looking for:
· Someone who is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
· A keen eye for detail — you’ll spot an imperfect finish before anyone else does
· Previous spray painting or vehicle/industrial painting experience is welcome but not essential — full training will be provided
· Comfortable working in PPE (respirator mask, spray suit, gloves) for extended periods

Location: Our workshop in Deans Industrial Estate, Livingston, EH54 8SB
Hours: 8am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday & 8am to 12.30pm on Friday
Start: Immediate
Duration: Temporary — 2 months (full-time)
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience)
Pay: £25,420.00-£26,000.00 per year
