We are seeking a motivated and skilled UPVC Window Fitter to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Measure window openings accurately and prepare sites for installation
- Fit, secure, and seal UPVC windows and doors according to schematics and technical specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble components
- Ensure all installations adhere to safety standards and building codes
- Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to guarantee proper fit and finish
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to roofing, masonry, or carpentry as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment and properly dispose of waste materials after each project
Qualifications
- Proven experience in UPVC window fitting or related construction roles
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans
- Ability to perform roofing, masonry, carpentry, plastering, welding, electrical work, plumbing or construction painting is a plus
- Experience working with construction schematics and technical instructions
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
