As an Access Platform Operator with Prime Platforms, you will be the face of our hire company across the UK, providing our customers with safe and professional access to work at height.
Operating one of our specialist 3.5-tonne access platforms, you will primarily cover jobs within your local and surrounding areas, while also supporting our nationwide customer base when required.
This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, operating machinery safely and professionally, and representing the company to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Arrive on site promptly and at the agreed time
- Provide customers with safe and reliable access to work at height
- Operate access platforms safely, efficiently and professionally
- Deliver an excellent level of customer service to clients and site personnel
- Maintain a thorough understanding of current health and safety policies, procedures, guidance and legislation
- Support our nationwide coverage throughout the UK and Northern Ireland
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our machines, their capabilities and safe operation
- Complete daily checks and ensure equipment is operated in accordance with company procedures
- Keep Head Office updated with accurate site information using our company tablet
- Represent Prime Platforms professionally at all times

Role Requirements
- The role involves working at heights of up to 25 metres
- Must be 18 or over
- Must hold a full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
- IPAF 1b is advantageous but not essential
- Previous experience operating Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) is advantageous but not essential
- CSCS card is advantageous but not essential
- Full training will be provided to the successful candidate
- Travel is a significant part of the role
- Regular overtime is available to meet customer requirements
- Participation in a weekend rota — one weekend on, one weekend off
- Flexibility to work away from home when required
