Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives and expand our market presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through innovative sales strategies. This role requires strong leadership, management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of B2B sales processes. The Senior Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's future success by delivering sustainable business solutions and fostering long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve organisational growth objectives.
- Identify and pursue new B2B sales opportunities across target markets, leveraging market analysis and industry insights.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to facilitate ongoing business collaborations.
- Lead negotiations and close high-value deals, ensuring alignment with company goals and client requirements.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt strategies proactively.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to align initiatives with organisational objectives.
- Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and strategic recommendations for executive review.
- Assist in completing accreditations for the business.
Requirements
- Proven experience in scaffolding management within a scaffolding business or sales environment, preferably in B2B sectors.
- Demonstrable success in developing new markets and securing large-scale contracts.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and market intelligence.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or comparable CRM tools is essential for tracking sales activities effectively.
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and opportunity identification.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields is desirable but not essential.
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
