Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer and Operator to join our team in the United Kingdom. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality bespoke furniture pieces, supporting our company's mission of craftsmanship excellence.
Responsibilities
- Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software to ensure precise fabrication of furniture components.
- Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality.
- Set up and calibrate equipment for different projects.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to meet project specifications.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of production processes and outputs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer and Operator within the furniture or woodworking industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with tooling, milling, grinding, and power tools.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use hand tools effectively.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Excellent attention to detail and safety consciousness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
