A Research Fellow position is now available within the Centre for Discoveries in Life Sciences, funded by a prestigious Leverhulme Trust Research Leadership Award. This project aims to decode the complexities of GPCR signalling by studying GLP-1R and adenosine receptors and their fundamental interactions with intracellular partners (G proteins and beta-arrestins). Working as part of a dynamic computational team, you will lead high-impact research, apply innovative methodologies, and build strong national and international collaborations.
You will apply innovative research methods and extend the research portfolio, including the publication of your research results and outcomes. Building internal and external networks for the exchange of information and future collaboration, sharing information, and identifying potential sources of funds will play a key part in this role.
Contributing to teaching, learning and development programmes as appropriate, you will use research findings to inform curriculum development while assisting in the development of student research skills.
