We are an independent 64 place day nursery for children aged 4mths-5yrs, within the grounds of The Essex golf and country club. We are looking for a dedicated kitchen manager to work 40 hrs over 5 days a week, taking full control of our catering requirements and be a integral part of a friendly and supportive team.
On a daily basis this will involve:
Preparing and serving fresh and balanced snacks and high tea.
Cooking of chilled lunches provided by Nursery Kitchen.
Kitchen stock control.
Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
Managing allergies and other dietary requirements.
Having an understanding of food hygiene /Undertaking of Food and Hygiene training.
Completing all kitchen paperwork.
Working with staff to encourage positive eating habits, and makes meal times a happy and sociable experience.
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
