To assist in providing an environment that offers support and praise for every child
To assist the Nursery Nurses in the development of relationships with the children, their parents and members of the nursery team.
To support the Nursery Nurses and Team Leaders to create and maintain a warm, caring, stimulating environment that together with encouragement will ensure development for each child.
Assisting the team to meet and recognise the needs of each child and their families, as individuals.
Interact with the children in order to support, encourage and observe to promote independence and development to enable the child to progress
Implement a range of activities on daily basis that encourages sensory messy play and creativity
To promote healthy eating practices amongst the children through snacks and meals provided
Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the equipment
Under the supervision of a qualified Team member assist the team to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage
Under the supervision of a suitably qualified team member to act when required as a key person to a small group of children
To attend and contribute to staff and team meetings
To assist the team in the implementation and coordination of nursery fund raising and social events throughout the year.
