Neya is AI for local, helping people find local groups, events, recommendations and neighbourly help.
Modern neighbourhoods have become too disconnected. People do not know what is happening nearby, who to meet, which groups to join, who to trust, or how to get involved. Neya changes that.
We’re looking for a sharp, energetic, socially confident person to work directly with the founding team and help make Neya feel alive in Oxford and across Oxfordshire.
This is a growth, content and local activation role for someone who loves social connection, understands what gets people’s attention, enjoys meeting people, and wants to help build an early-stage startup from the ground up.
You’ll be out in Oxford, Didcot, Wantage and Henley creating momentum around Neya. You’ll make content, start conversations, recruit local champions, support meetups, run street-level campaigns, get people into groups, spot local stories, and help us learn what makes neighbourhoods come alive.
You might be early in your career, but you’ll be ambitious, practical, digitally native and full of initiative. You’ll work closely with the Neya founding team, and have real ownership from day one.
What you'll do:
This role is for someone who wants to help launch a new consumer app in the real world.
You’ll be part founder’s associate, part in-app group activator, part local hustler, part community activator.
Your job is to help Neya grow and come alive locally.
That means:
- Creating daily activity in the app
- Finding and supporting people who can start groups and events
- Making Neya visible around Oxford
- Running local campaigns and experiments
- Helping turn online groups into real-world meetups
- Capturing stories, photos, quotes and local moments
- Testing what works and building the launch playbook for new places
This is a practical, people-facing, creative role. It will suit someone who is energetic, organised, confident with social media, good with people, and excited by the idea of helping build a startup.
Pay: £35,000.00 per year
