Beautiful & historic Lympne Castle has an immediate full-time employment opening for a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Shift Leader.

This is a very hands-on role that involves leading the food and beverage team during shifts, as well as opening and closing food and beverage outlets as needed. This is a great opportunity to work in both events and retail food and beverage outlets, providing guidance and support to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation. This role includes fulfilling Bar and Service duties, as well as leadership responsibilities.
This is a 7-day /week hospitality operation. As such, weekend and evening work will be required.
Qualifications:
- A demonstrated strong work ethic, positive attitude and professional commitment to world-class service;
- 1-2 years of leadership experience;
- Self-motivated & disciplined;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Ability to support, lead & train in a firm and positive manner;
- Ability to handle customer concerns and resolve conflict;
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed;
- Ability to stand for long periods of time & to carry heavy trays of food and drinks;
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
- Interest in history and the arts is a plus;
A reliable method of transport is recommended due to the remote location and shift work.
