Applicants MUST be aged over 21yrs! We are seeking a reliable, professional and EXPERIENCED person to join our team in the role of Chambermaid. each Tuesday & Wednesday on a permanent basis. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within hospitality, contributing to a welcoming and well-maintained environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and customer service, supporting the overall operation of our establishment. Prior experience in hotel or hospitality settings is highly desirable, along with a background in janitorial work. This role is essential in maintaining the comfort and satisfaction of our guests and clients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by attending to guest needs promptly and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all areas of the premises, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens and uniforms
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and communal areas to ensure availability at all times
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for resolution
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a secure environment for staff and guests
- Support other team members as required to ensure smooth daily operations
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour are important for delivering outstanding guest service
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules within the hospitality sector
Pay: From £12.80 per hour
