Mayfair Pub & Kitchen is a fast growing hospitality brand combining a relaxed, family friendly restaurant by day with a lively sports bar and late night party atmosphere on weekends.
As we open our fourth venue in Durham, we're looking for confident and motivated Supervisors to support the management team and help deliver an outstanding guest experience.
The Role
As a Supervisor, you'll be a key part of the leadership team on shift leading by example, supporting staff, and ensuring smooth service across all areas of the venue.
From busy daytime service to high-energy matchdays and weekend nightlife, you'll help manage the floor and keep standards high at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management team in the day-to-day running of the venue
- Lead shifts and ensure smooth service across restaurant, bar, and floor
- Motivate and support team members during busy periods
- Deliver excellent customer service and handle guest queries confidently
- Help manage busy matchdays and weekend late night service
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, service, and presentation
- Assist with training new staff members
- Handle cashing up and basic admin duties when required
- Ensure compliance with licensing and health & safety regulations
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a bar, pub, or restaurant (supervisory experience preferred)
- Confident leading a team in a fast paced environment
- Ability to stay calm under pressure, especially during peak times
- Flexible and reliable, including evenings and weekends
- Passion for hospitality and creating a great atmosphere
- Experience in sports bars or late night venues is a bonus

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
