About the Role
You will be joining a successful team working within our Warehouse in Longport, Stoke-on-Trent. You will play a hands-on role in supporting our warehouse operations, preparing hardware systems, and ensuring stock is organised and ready for dispatch. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory and ensure stock is organised efficiently within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Receive incoming deliveries, check stock, and allocate items to the correct warehouse locations.
- Assemble and prepare hardware systems ready for installation or shipment.
- Carry out basic checks on EPOS hardware and equipment (full training provided).
- Refurbish returned hardware by cleaning, testing, and ensuring all required cables and accessories are included.
- Inspect returned equipment for faults and organise hardware for repair, refurbishment, or storage.
- Stack and replenish warehouse shelving while maintaining an organised stockroom.
- Operate warehouse equipment and machinery safely (training provided where required).
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment, following all health and safety procedures.
- Support the wider warehouse team with general logistics and operational tasks as required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, labouring, logistics or similar hands-on role.
- A Forklift Licence is desirable but not essential.
- Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A methodical approach and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Basic IT skills and confidence using technology.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn, develop and take on new responsibilities.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- The right to work in the UK is essential.
