The Commercial Manager role is a newly created role within NWG’s Assets Commercial team, working closely with our project delivery team, with overall responsibility for contractual compliance on our NEC contracts.
As NWG ramps up for the AMP8 asset investment period (2025-2030), we are developing our internal capability to effectively and efficiently deliver our forecast £3.6bn AMP8 capital spend, in support of NWG’s business objectives and customer outcomes.
In this role, you will manage a range of civil engineering, water and waste water projects using the NEC4 PSC and ECC contracts, managing supplier performance and ensuring NWG’s interests are represented effectively.
The Commercial Manager works closely with project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to manage the contract and ensuring projects are delivered according to agreed outcomes, on time, within budget and to a high quality.
About you
If you have experience in commercial management and ECC contract management to enable successful project delivery, we want to hear from you.
You will have demonstrable experience with NEC forms of contract, experience of the CDM Regulations and experience using NEC Contract Management Tools.
You will have experience in civil engineering, utilities, water, environment or infrastructure projects and knowledge of their principles.
