We’re looking for kind, reliable and compassionate Live‑In Carers to support people in their own homes in both Dawlish and Topsham. If you’re someone who truly cares and wants to make a meaningful difference every day, we’d love to hear from you.
Due to the personal care needs and preferences of the indiviudals we support, these positions requires a female carer. This is a Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010.
What you’ll do:
- Provide warm, person‑centred care
- Support daily routines, personal care and mobility
- Prepare meals and help maintain a comfortable home
- Offer companionship, reassurance and emotional support
- Keep clear, accurate care records
- Work closely with families and professionals
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in care (domiciliary, residential or live‑in)
- A calm, patient and respectful approach
- Experience of supporting people living with dementia is desirable
- Someone who can work independently and build trust
- Willingness to live in for agreed periods
- NVQ/QCF Level 2/3 welcomed but not essential
