Production Assistant – Flexible Hours

20–38 hours per week over four days

Mowbray Foam Ltd is looking for a reliable and proactive Production Assistant to help keep our busy foam manufacturing facility organised, clean and running efficiently.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving:
- Organising stock and factory work areas
- Cleaning machinery, production and communal areas
- Sorting and managing waste and recycling
- Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
- Providing general support to the production team
- Operating production machinery once fully trained
- Helping with basic maintenance and other factory tasks
We are looking for someone who is dependable, well organised and willing to turn their hand to different jobs. The role involves manual work, so applicants must be comfortable working in a factory environment and remaining active throughout the day.
There is an opportunity be to trained or re-trained as a counterbalance fork lift driver.
Previous factory or production experience would be useful but is not essential, as full training will be provided. There will also be opportunities to learn different machinery and take on greater responsibility.
Hours can be agreed to suit the successful applicant, between 20 and 38 hours per week, worked across our four-day working week, currently Monday to Thursday.
