We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Private Client team. The successful candidate will provide essential support in legal research, document preparation, and case management. The Paralegal will be responsible for assisting our Senior Probate Solicitor with various administrative and substantive tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of legal processes.
Duties
- Conduct legal research using relevant databases and resources to support case preparation.
- Draft, review, and organise legal documents.
- Manage and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and summaries for client meetings.
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings for Solicitor to ensure efficient workflow.
- Liaise with clients and external agencies as required, maintaining professional communication at all times.
- Utilise Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to prepare documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and legal standards throughout all activities.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively within tight deadlines.
- Good IT skills with the ability to adapt to new software or systems as required.
- Effective time management skills to prioritise workload efficiently.
- Attention to detail in document review and data entry to minimise errors.
