We are seeking a Chartered Financial Planner to join Benchmark Financial Planning. This role suits an experienced adviser with a strong track record of acquiring and retaining clients, an established professional network, and the credibility to handle complex client needs.
You will manage a portfolio of affluent clients, lead sophisticated planning cases, support business growth, and mentor junior colleagues. This is a senior role with real influence on clients, people, and the wider business.

Deliver holistic financial planning across investments, pensions, protection, and tax.
- Lead client meetings, fact finds, and the construction of tailored financial plans.
- Maintain and grow relationships with professional introducers.
- Develop new business through referrals and networking.
- Act as a technical reference point for complex cases.
- Mentor and support junior planners and paraplanners.
- Maintain strong compliance standards and quality of advice.
- Contribute to business growth and operational improvement.

Chartered Financial Planner status (CII or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years’ regulated advisory experience, typically 10+ at this level.
- Evidence of successful business development through professional networks.
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, tax, and estate planning.
- Confidence dealing with high‑net‑worth clients.
- Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced advisers.
- Strong working knowledge of financial planning systems and tools.
You’ll be based at our Brighton office, providing a strong local base while working closely with colleagues and advisers across the wider business, including interaction with our head office in Horsham.
