Electrical Supervisor – Accrington Market Hall Renovation Project
Location: Accrington, Lancashire
Rate: £30.00 per hour
Hours: 46.5 paid hours per week
Duration: Minimum 8 Weeks (with the potential for further work)
Start Date: Immediate
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a major renovation project at Accrington Market Hall.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor to take responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day electrical installation works on a prestigious commercial refurbishment project, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
The Role
You will be responsible for supervising a team of electricians on site whilst remaining hands-on where required. Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager, you'll ensure the electrical package is delivered to the highest standard whilst maintaining health & safety and programme requirements.
Scope of Works
The project involves a full electrical refurbishment and upgrade of the existing Market Hall, including:
- Supervising electrical operatives on site
- Coordinating daily works and labour allocation
- Containment installation
- Conduit installation
- Lighting installation
- Small power installations
- General commercial electrical refurbishment
- Quality inspections and snagging
- Liaising with site management and other trades
- Ensuring health & safety procedures are adhered to at all times
- Assisting with planning works to ensure programme deadlines are achieved
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Gold JIB Card
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- IPAF Certification
- PASMA (preferred but not essential)
- Previous experience supervising commercial electrical projects
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical installations
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Own tools and PPE
