Lead Change. Deliver Excellence. Shape the Future of Maintenance.
At Housing Plus Group, we're transforming the way we deliver repairs and maintenance services to 80,000 customers across our communities.
We're looking for exceptional Maintenance Managers to join our growing leadership team. Our managers work across a range of operational services including Customer Contact Centres, Responsive Repairs and Planned Maintenance, bringing together people, performance and customer service to deliver outstanding outcomes.
Each role has a different operational focus, so we're looking for experienced leaders with transferable skills, fresh ideas and a passion for delivering exceptional services. Whether your background is in operational delivery, repairs, planned works, customer operations or service improvement, if you're an inspiring leader who enjoys making a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
As a Maintenance Manager, you'll provide visible leadership across one of our maintenance functions, ensuring safe, efficient and customer-focused services are delivered every day.
Depending on your role, you'll work across areas such as:
-
Customer Contact Centre Operations – leading service delivery, turning operational insight into action by analysing performance, challenging inefficiencies, improving right-first-time delivery and bringing together maintenance, fleet, supply chain and support teams to deliver outstanding services.
-
Responsive Repairs – Leading and developing a dispersed maintenance team, working collaboratively with Housing and wider organisational teams to deliver responsive, customer-focused repairs while maximising right-first-time completion and service performance.
-
Planned Maintenance – Leading teams delivering planned maintenance programmes, working in partnership with Responsive Repairs colleagues to deliver planned-on-demand works where they provide the most appropriate solution, ensuring a seamless customer journey, high-quality outcomes and value for money.
A successful Maintenance Manager will:
-
Lead, inspire and develop high-performing teams.
-
Drive operational performance through data and insight.
-
Deliver excellent customer outcomes.
-
Build strong relationships across Housing, Property, Estates and Customer Services.
-
Solve problems, make informed decisions and continually improve the service.
-
Champion safe working, compliance and quality.
Who we're looking for
We know the best leaders don't all follow the same career path.
You may already be leading responsive repairs, planned maintenance, customer operations, property services or another operational service where people, performance and customer experience are at the heart of what you do.
We're looking for someone who:
-
Leads with energy, integrity and accountability.
-
Inspires and develops people to achieve their best.
-
Can adapt quickly to different operational environments.
-
Uses data and insight to improve performance.
-
Makes sound commercial and operational decisions.
-
Thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
-
Builds collaborative relationships across teams and services.
-
Puts customers at the centre of every decision.
