J Mould (Reading) has been involved in the recycling of materials arising from demolition and waste aggregates. Significant investment in 2018 has seen the installation of a state of the art Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) at the Reading Quarry site.
As a RoRo Driver, you will be responsible for the safe delivery, exchange, and collection of roll-on/roll-off containers across customer sites throughout Reading and the surrounding areas. You will play a key role in supporting our waste management and recycling services while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating RoRo vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Delivering and collecting containers from commercial and industrial sites.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting defects.
- Ensuring all loads are secure and transported in line with legal requirements.
- Completing relevant paperwork and digital records accurately.
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards on-site.
- Following company health & safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous RoRo or skip experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and transport regulations.
- Strong awareness of health & safety practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
