Are you highly organised, calm under pressure, and passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people? The Young Futures Prevention Panel (YFPP) is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Team Standards Co-ordinator to join our dynamic multi-agency partnership.
The YFPP is a funded early intervention project designed to reduce the impact of anti-social behaviour, criminality, and serious youth violence by identifying children at the earliest stage and coordinating swift, positive community intervention. You’ll play a vital behind the scenes role in helping the panel operate smoothly and effectively.
About the role
- As the YFPP Admin Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the weekly panel runs seamlessly. Key duties include:
- Managing the YFPP dedicated mailbox and preparing weekly panel papers.
- Recording, tracking, and maintaining accurate case information, referral details, consent, and outcomes.
- Producing clear, timely minutes for each weekly panel meeting
- Coordinating multi-agency communication between partners including Children’s Services, Police, Early Help, Youth Justice, Education, community organisations, and commissioned services.
- Scheduling review dates and ensuring relevant information is gathered in advance.
- Supporting financial/quarterly returns
- Ensuring that data governance processes are followed, including consent and information sharing requirements.
- Contributing to the smooth running and development of this evolving and high-impact early intervention programme.
This is a fast-paced role requiring attention to detail, excellent communication, and confidence in liaising with a wide range of partners.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Exceptionally organised, with the ability to juggle multiple demands.
- Skilled in minute-taking and producing professional documents.
- Confident in working with sensitive information and following data-protection requirements.
- Comfortable working with multi-agency partners.
- Able to work independently, problem-solve, and maintain momentum in a busy environment.
- Passionate about supporting better outcomes for vulnerable young people and families.
Experience in safeguarding, youth work, early help, or multi-agency environments would be an advantage but is not essential.
What we offer
- The chance to be part of an exciting and growing early intervention model making a real impact in Southampton.
- A supportive team within the Young People’s Service.
- Flexible working arrangements.
- Fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027 with possibility to extend.
