Cold Store Picker
Due to ongoing expansion, fantastic opportunity arisen for an experienced cold store order picker (-18 freezer) to join a well renowned and long-established family business in Accrington (BB5).
Job Type: Full-time
Annual salary of £30,000k (£578/week)
20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.
Sunday to Thursday - 1.30pm - 10pm (30 mins unpaid break included)
No working on Friday or Saturday
Total of 42.5 hours per week of which 40 hours are paid with 30 minutes each day unpaid break.
What the job includes (but not limited to)
Key Responsibilities:
- General cold store duties including all aspects of customer order picking.
- Work to be carried out in freezer environment at minus 18 or below.
- Critical to have good organisational skills with the ability to pick customer orders accurately and must have meticulous attention to detail.
Job requirements (NB: All are required
- Must have 3 years former experience in picking.
- Must be of a fit state for physical work with manual handling and lifting.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to pick extremely accurately and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to plan and organise own workload.
