Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes with precision and flair, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Manage the entire grilling process, from marinating and seasoning to cooking and plating, maintaining high standards of food safety
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients for optimal efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, adhering strictly to hygiene regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation, ensuring timely service during busy periods
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures meticulously to achieve perfect results for each dish
- Serve finished dishes with attention to detail, ensuring visual appeal and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or culinary setting, especially with grilling techniques
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of ingredients
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent skills in meal preparation, including seasoning, grilling, and plating dishes attractively
- Prior kitchen experience with a focus on culinary excellence and attention to detail
- Ability to serve guests professionally and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
