Overview
We are seeking dedicated Construction Cleaners to join our team for work primarily in Grantham but also other sites. This role involves the cleaning of new build homes in various stages. The ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail, experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services, and a strong work ethic. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality construction projects while developing your skills within the cleaning industry.
Responsibilities
- To clean houses as per specification which involves removing debris, dust, hoovering, mopping throughout each plot.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when stock levels are low
- Support other team members in completing site-specific cleaning tasks as required
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
- Familiarity with construction site cleaning procedures is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- A proactive attitude towards safety and cleanliness on busy construction sites is highly valued
This role is vital in supporting the smooth progress of construction projects by maintaining a clean and safe environment. We welcome applicants who are committed, reliable, and eager to contribute to our team’s success.
Applicants will need to be able to drive and ideally have own car/van as a full cleaning kit and apparatus will be provided.
A labourer CSCS card will be required but if not held this is something we can assist with.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
