We are a well-established organisation specialising in precision machining. Having grown year on year and supplied products to high profile companies, we now require an additional Machine Operator/Setter to help us to meet the business requirements.
As a machine operator/setter you will operate the CNC machines & Lathe, producing components to drawing specifications. You will need to be able to understand drawing specifications and meet the health & safety procedural guidelines.
Key Authorities & Responsibilities:
· To produce components efficiently to drawing requirements
· Tool setting & changes – with training
· Operate CNC equipment
· Operate Lathe with training
· To be flexible in a team oriented environment
· Visual inspection of parts to ensure quality standards are met
Preferred Experience:
· CNC/Lathe machine experience
· Engineering background
· Conversant with engineering drawings
· Milling machine experience
Other Conditions:
· Must possess a positive can do attitude
· Must be physically fit as some lifting of heavy metals will be required
· Ability to work without supervision
· Be prepared to undertake all reasonable requests as determined by the business needs
· Able to maintain a safe working environment for other employees
· Ensure the working area is clean and presentable at all times
Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am to 4.30pm, Friday 8am to 1.30pm
