Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations within a busy culinary environment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing training, support, and motivation to ensure optimal performance
- Oversee food production processes to maintain consistency, quality, and safety standards
- Manage stock checks and ordering of kitchen ingredients
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimise operational efficiency
- Develop menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating innovative dishes while maintaining cost-effectiveness
- Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of orders
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer feedback related to food quality or service issues professionally and promptly
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
