Overview
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional guest service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly.
- Follow food safety standards and health regulations at all times.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless guest experience.
Experience
- Must have Previous experience as a barista
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous.
- Familiarity with serving procedures, guest services, and upselling strategies will be beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Ability to work well within a team while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude.
