You will be expected to maintain consistency and organisation throughout service while contributing to a culture built around teamwork, responsibility, cleanliness, and pride in the food we serve.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes to Bread Meats Bread standards
- Ensure excellent food quality, presentation, and consistency during service
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times
- Keep your section organised, stocked and service-ready
- Work closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth communication and teamwork
- Support senior chefs and management in maintaining kitchen standards and efficiency
- Take accountability for your prep, section management, and daily responsibilities
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong understanding of culinary techniques and kitchen practices
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain standards during busy services
- Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality
- Passion for fresh, quality food and hospitality
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable, hardworking, and accountable approach to work
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive rate of pay starting at £12.75 per hour
- Additional income from tips and service charges averaging approximately £2/3 per hour
