Autism Independence | Bristol (office-based)
We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager with a background in the charity, community or public sector to support the day-to-day running of a small, impactful CIC.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys improving systems, managing staff, and supporting frontline services working with diverse communities.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee delivery across multiple funded programmes
- Manage and support frontline staff
- Maintain systems, compliance (including safeguarding & GDPR)
- Lead monitoring, reporting and service improvement
- Work with partners including NHS and local authorities
About you:
- Strong experience in operations/service management in a VCSE, community or public sector setting
- Confident managing people and supporting complex frontline work
- Knowledge of safeguarding, compliance and service quality
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a small team
This role may not suit you if:
- You are looking for a corporate or purely strategic role
- You don’t have experience in community or frontline services
22.5 hours/week | £22,230 (£37k FTE)
