Welshpool, Powys | Full-time | Temporary to Permanent | £13.00 per hour
Monday to Friday, 7:45am – 5:00pm
Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours
Occasional Saturday work as required
Role Overview
A local business in Welshpool is looking for Outdoor Nursery Workers to join their hardworking and friendly team. This is a hands-on role working outdoors, supporting the planting, maintenance and preparation of trees and plants. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and is happy to work in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plant, maintain and care for trees and heavy plants
- Load and move trees and plants safely around the nursery
- Carry out general outdoor nursery duties
- Work as part of a team to complete daily tasks efficiently
- Assist with manual handling and heavy lifting where required
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Skills & Experience
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out heavy lifting
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Previous outdoor or horticultural experience is beneficial but not essential
Pay: £13.00 per hour
