Bank Dental Nurse - Band 4 - Kendal Emergency Dental Service
An opportunity has arisen to expand the emergency dental service team. We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and highly motivated, qualified GDC registered Dental Nurses to work within our busy Emergency Dental Service at our Kendal clinic.
Sessions are held weekday evenings Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 17:45 until 21:45
Saturday ,Sundays and Bank Holidays 08:15 until 12:15
This is a bank position and sessions will be offered as and when cover is needed. We need cover predominately more for evening sessions

To provide clinical and clerical support to Trust employed Dental Practitioners Operating in the NCIC Emergency Dental Service.
To be the link between the patient and the clinician.
To prepare the surgery for the patient and assist the dentist in a range of emergency dental care.
To undertake reception duties and carry out administrative and filing duties (either electronically or paper-based) within the Emergency Dental Service within Furness and South Lakes

The trust will provide a twelve month preceptorship period for new to registration Nursing Associates
Registered Nursing Associates returning to practice, moving into new roles or changing clinical environments, may access an agreed preceptorship period.
