Location: Liverpool

Salary: £15.00–£17.00 per hour, depending on experience.
About Us
Liverpool Student Lettings is a well established independent letting agency managing a large portfolio of student and residential properties across Liverpool.
As we enter our busiest period of the year, we are looking for a reliable and skilled Property Maintenance Operative to help prepare our properties to a high standard. This is initially a part time position, with excellent long term opportunities for the right person.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out general property maintenance, repairs and preparing properties between tenancies.
Typical duties include:
●* General handyman repairs.*
●* Painting and decorating.*
●* Basic joinery repairs.*
●* Replacing locks, handles and door furniture.*
●* Flat-pack furniture assembly.*
●* Basic plumbing repairs (taps, toilets, leaks).*
●* Basic property maintenance.*
●* Changing light fittings and bulbs where appropriate.*
●* Preparing student properties for new tenants.*
●* Identifying maintenance issues and reporting larger repairs.*
●* Collecting and delivering maintenance materials when required.*
●* Ensuring properties are presented to a high standard before move-in.*
Essential Requirements
●* Minimum 2 years’ experience in property maintenance, handyman or multi-skilled maintenance work.*
●* Good all-round DIY and maintenance skills.*
●* Reliable, organised and able to work independently.*
●* Full UK driving licence.*
●* Own basic hand tools.*
●* Friendly and professional attitude when dealing with tenants.*
Desirable Skills
Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:
●* Joinery*
●* Plumbing*
●* Decorating*
●* Tiling*
●* Basic electrical maintenance (within your competence)*
●* Student accommodation or residential property maintenance*
