Job Summary
An opportunity has risen for an individual to join our team at one of our valuable contracts at the Penrhos Works, Holyhead. This is a part-time weekend post, working on Saturdays and Sundays, for two hours per day, plus the opportunity for overtime during the working week. Previous experience in cleaning is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, offices and communal spaces to a high standard.
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any faults to management.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times including wearing the correct PPE and using colour-coding procedures.
- Ensure tasks are completed within the timeframe.
- Clock in and out and per instruction.
- Communicate effectively with management when stock is low or needs replacing.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning or related roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Good communication skills in English and or Welsh.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
