A specialist provider of nursing care located in Islington, London, is looking for an experienced Clinical Lead to join our team.
This 64 bed care home provides nursing, dementia and specialist care facilities. Our ethos is family-oriented, professional, hard-working, resident-led and fun.
This is a full-time role of 44 hours per week, with a pay rate of £24.90 per hour.
The Clinical Lead is responsible for supporting the delivery of all aspects of business performance within the home, ensuring the highest quality of care is offered to residents and their families whilst meeting all regulatory standards and ensuring company policies are adhered to. You must have previous management experience and have, or be willing to work towards, an NVQ Level 4 and 5. You must have a nursing background, with experience in neurological care.
As a Clinical Lead, you will:
- Lead and inspire the team to deliver special experiences to residents, which promote choice and independence to make a positive difference in their lives.
- Achieve the highest possible standards of care and enhance the resident experience, ensuring that all company policies, regulations, Codes of Conduct and care plans are adhered to.
- Work with the Home Manager to implement care home policies around standards of care, team member welfare and training, and develop an excellent reputation.
- Develop personal contact with residents, their relatives and visitors to enhance the residents' quality of life.
- Take responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of yourself and others, including colleagues, residents and visitors to the Home, and alert the officers responsible to any hazards or potential risks to health and safety.
- Ensure that you and the team attend training days and courses, so that learning records are maintained and individuals are developed.
To succeed, you will have:
- Experience of managing a team, ensuring all team members are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place for the smooth, efficient running of the home.
- Experience of quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services.
- Experience of working in the healthcare sector.
