Job Opportunity – Workshop Assistant at our Alfreton Depot
Working hours 7am - 4.30pm
Broughton Plant Hire & Sales is looking to recruit a full-time permanent person to work in our workshop to help service and maintain tool hire equipment and general labouring duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure hire fleet is maintained and repaired to ensure hire equipment is fit for purpose and available for hire.
- Identify and document any faults or defects found during testing.
- Support skilled tradespeople in their duties, providing assistance as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all testing activities
- Work within the Health & Safety policy of the company to ensure safe working practises
What you’ll need to succeed for this Workshop Assiatant role:
- Previous experience in a labouring role or similar environment is advantage but not essential.
- Experience in general repairs
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and machinery is preferred.
- A passion for service
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Approachable and the ability to work in a team
- Hard working, punctual and self motivated
